Job Description 👨‍💻

We are looking for a Head of Product to join our team in Massy or Toulouse and support our rapid growth.

Reporting to the In-Orbit Service Team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for the In-Orbit Department.

Your main responsibilities will include:

📌 Team Management
Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of team members. Set objectives, conduct annual performance reviews, and support team development. Lead and manage the team, implement effective processes, and handle conflict situations when necessary.

📌 Product Strategy
Define and implement the product strategy. Develop deep customer and market understanding to prioritize needs, evaluate the competitive landscape, validate pricing, and anticipate future market trends.

📌 Roadmap Management
Define and manage the product roadmap. Oversee product evolution and prioritize development in alignment with market dynamics and Exotrail’s business plan. Coordinate execution across teams and define and track product KPIs.

📌 Commercial & Go-to-Market Strategy
Define the business model, segment the offering, and leverage existing partnerships to support market expansion.

Preferred Experience 💁‍♀️

📌 8+ years of experience in Product Management or in the development of space systems. Experience in NewSpace is a plus.

📌 Strong knowledge of the space sector (orbital mechanics, propulsion, in-orbit operations).

📌 Deep expertise in Orbital Transfer Vehicles (OTV) and Hall-effect thrusters.

📌 Proven experience in product management within a deeptech environment.

📌 Strong leadership skills, with the ability to align and inspire multidisciplinary teams.

📌 Excellent communication skills in both French & English, with a strategic and customer-oriented mindset.

📌 Ability to work autonomously in demanding and regulated environments. Experience in a scale-up environment or mindset is a strong advantage.
