**📢 We’re hiring – Electronics Engineering Intern**
Exotrail provides In Orbit hosting services via its SpaceVan LEO vehicule, including provision of power, communication, monitoring and specific operations depending on the payload mission.
To improve the capabilities and efficiency of its services, a custom daugther board associated with the OBC payload will be developped. The daughter board will be answering all internal avionics needed interfaces and offering additional interfaces for the clients.
To support this development, Exotrail is looking for an Electronics Engineering Intern to join our avionics team for 6 months, begining in Jan/March 2026 at Toulouse facilities.
**🚀** **What you’ll do**
- Validation of interface needs with system and avionics teams
- Research on standard small satellites physical interfaces (CAN, UART, RS, Ethernet, USB, ...) operations and OBC payload functionnalities
- Development of a PCBa taking into account mechanical and thermal constraints in the satellite flight configuration
- Definition of test methods
- Development of software blocks on the OBC payload side
- End-to-end tests with simulators or real targets to validate the developped interfaces
Preferred Experience 💁♀️
We are looking for a Bac+4/5 student in electronics, embedded systems or aerospace engineering field with a strong interest for:
- Embedded electronics
- PCB developments
- Test and issues investigation
- C developments
**💡** **Bonus skills**
The following skills or interests would be a plus:
- End-on experience in embedded electronics
- Linux
- FPGA
