Job Description 👨‍đźŹ
As an Industrialization Engineer at Exotrail, you will be responsible for the industrialization of our propulsion systems and sub-systems for satellites. You will play a key role in integrating manufacturing requirements from the early design phases through to series production. This includes defining industrial flows and processes to meet the company’s operational goals in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, and Methods to ensure seamless product deployment to production lines.
Your Main Tasks
📌 Project Leadership & Strategy
- Lead industrialization activities aligned with development and production project schedules.
- Ensure early consideration of industrial constraints during product design phases.
- Define and deploy industrial strategies (make or buy, testing strategy, production organization).
- Deliver key industrial documentation and support project reviews.
- Coordinate supplier selection and contracting with the procurement team.
- Monitor industrial budgets and track product costs (CAPEX, OPEX).
📌 Process Definition & Production Capability
- Design, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes to guarantee capacity and capability in production.
- Perform risk analysis and define quality controls (PFMEA, control plans).
- Specify and deploy production equipment with Methods and Testing teams.
- Implement efficient production flows to meet delivery and safety objectives (VSM, workstation design, ergonomics).
📌 Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with the Quality team to define and maintain manufacturing standards, including those for suppliers.
- Apply LEAN Manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with industrial and safety standards.
Preferred Experience
📌 Education & Background
- Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronics, Robotics, or related field.
- Minimum B2 level in both French and English.
📌 Technical Skills
- Proven experience in industrial project management, from design to production.
- Strong knowledge in mechanical, electronic, fluidic, and/or robotic systems.
- Familiarity with PLM and ERP tools.
- Proficiency in manufacturing CAD/CAM tools and simulation software (a plus).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and manufacturing compliance standards.
- Experience with LEAN methodologies is highly appreciated.
