Exotrail is seeking a highly motivated and talented Operations software development Intern to join our team. The intern will work on a variety of projects related to satellite operations and software development for the space industry.
The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in the last year of a Bachelor in Aerospace engineering or Software development or in a graduate program in Aerospace Engineering or Software developemnt or in a related field, and has a strong background in Python programming.
Responsibilities
- Refactor proof of concept of the communication interface with a satellite ground model
- Continue development of the satellite ground model interface for the Spacevan-001 mission
- Create and use procedures (list of satellite telecommands) in Spacetower for the Spacevan
- Develop procedures in Python for an offline satellite diagnostic tool in AIT
- Develop a Python interface for the Spaceware thrusters in the AIT vacuum chambers
- Develop a standalone software for logging the Spacevan-001 mission telemetries and telecommands
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in the last year of a Bachelor in Aerospace engineering or Software development or in a graduate program in Aerospace Engineering or Software developemnt or in a related field
- Strong background in Python programming
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
