Product Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Product Assurance Engineer at our Massy site, to support the rapid growth.
Your activity will be focused on Product Assurance and Quality of our spaceware branch in Massy, electrical propulsion systems for small satellites, where propulsion branch is quickly growing, the job will covers:
- The day-to-day PA/QA activities such as correct follow-up and resolution of observed anomalies during the whole propulsion lifetime (equipment incoming inspection, AIT phases, operations…) and suppliers quality follow-up
- Middle terms perspective activities to structure the quality process, and to ensure its setting with the correct level of complexity so quality brings betterment along with good spaceware team adhesion, in a high ramp-up context
Responsibilities:
📌 Ensures quality throughout the product lifecycle, from supplier selection to the final integration and testing phases
📌 Evaluates supplier proposals, participates in audits, monitors non-conformities, and leads corrective actions
📌 During the AIT phase, defines critical inspection points, implements quality procedures, and ensures smooth operations
📌 Promote a strong quality culture during development, ensure the conduct of quality reviews, and manage risk
📌 A key player in continuous improvement, capitalize on feedback and adapts processes to meet operational needs
📌 Autonomous, regularly reports to AIT and quality managers, through dedicated indicators
Preferred Experience 💁♀️
We are looking for a candidate with significant experience (10 years) in industrial projects, ideally in the space or aeronautic sector. You should be autonomous, proactive, and capable of driving security initiatives across the organization.
Technical Stack:
- English Level: professional competence for both speaking and writing capabilities
- Knowledge of quality standards ISO9001/EN9100 is a plus
- Knowledge of recognized space standards (e.g. ECSS, MIL) is a plus
- High motivation for constructive and solution-oriented way of working in a team
- Very good soft and presentation skills (presentations, technical documentation, assumptions, oral presentation)
- Able to work with a great autonomy
- You should be passionate with space and entrepreneurship and be ready to work in a very demanding, evolving and challenging environment – be ready to propose suggestions and be pro-active!
