Job Description 👨‍💻
We are looking for an Electronics Module Leader to join our team in Massy. The Module Leader is responsible for successfully planning and executing propulsion internal development projects.
This role requires strong technical expertise and important project management skills to effectively lead internal product development projects, ensuring they meet organizational goals and client expectations.
The responsibility is focused on Thruster Control Unit (TCU) module and Electrical Demonstration Unit (EDU).
The role has Operational Management responsibilities.
Missions
The Module Leader ensures robust project responsibility by overseeing planning, budgeting, and delivery of development projects.
Project planning: Create master plans with clear timelines and resource needs, aligning with strategic goals, for both the TCU module and EDU product.
Workforce planning: Plan and manage staffing levels to meet organisational needs, in collaboration with Line Managers. Escalate staffing conflicts to the Technical Project Manager when conflict within the same program; to Line Managers if conflict across programs.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges and uncertainties together with the technical team or, in case of support needed, with the Technical Project Manager. Use risk management processes to minimize the impact of risks on project objectives.
Performance Metrics: Track critical KPIs such as budget adherence, timeline accuracy, and quality standards to evaluate project success.
Reporting: Regularly update Technical Project Manager, Product Manager and Line Managers on project progress, challenges, and workload.
Stakeholder Management: Track project performance against established KPIs and objectives. Prepare and present detailed project reports to technical team and Technical Project Manager, highlighting progress, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Quality: Ensures clarity and on-time delivery of manufacturing deliverables and documentation. Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Production support: Ensure proper implementation of the TCU & EDU workflows in coordination with the Industrialization. In the event of a production issue, the Module Leader is responsible for establishing a dedicated action plan to restore the production.
Supplier follow-up: The Module Leader will ensure the proper technical follow-up of the activities subcontracted to suppliers for development purposes and may support the Quality and Supply team with the technical follow-up of suppliers involved in the production of flight units. It encompasses the preparation, execution and finalization of the activities. Occasional travel to the supplier premises may occur.
Experience Required:
Proven track record of developing technologies.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field, such as space propulsion, mechanical, electronics, embedded software, fluidic systems, space systems.
Experience in managing development projects for at least 2 years is preferred.
Experience within space, aeronautical, automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred.
Technical Skills Required
Knowledge of relevant spacecraft sub-systems is required (e.g. propulsion, power electronics, electronics, high/low pressure payload).

Experience with sub-system or system integration, testing and validation processes.
