Exotrail is expanding its software-development team of space dynamics engineers and software developers. Our team is developing spacestudio™ and spacetower™, our software suite to design and operate satellite missions with an emphasis on propulsion operations!
Our core competencies lie in the development of algorithms to control low-thrust propulsion on small satellites and to integrate a full flight dynamics system within an easy-to-use, modular interface.
We are looking for smart, self-motivated cybersecurity engineer to join our truly exceptional development teams.
As a cybersecurity engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and innovative projects that make a real impact on the space industry. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software systems that ensure the security and integrity of our space-based assets and missions.
The scope includes:
📌 Network security: Good knowledge of network protocols, including OSI (TCP/IP), NAT/PAT, port forwarding, routing, VPN. You will benefit from a strong support from the IT team.
📌 Data security: Knowledge of how to secure and protect data, including data encryption, access controls, data backup and recovery.
📌 Application security: Experience with securing and protecting access to applications, including authentication with third party solutions.
📌 Cloud security: Understanding how to secure and protect data and assets in the cloud, including technologies such as Kubernetes or AWS.
📌 Security testing: Knowledge of how to test systems and applications for vulnerabilities and weaknesses(pen-testing), and how to implement remediation measures.
📌 Compliance: Familiarity with industry and regulatory compliance standards, such as GDPR.
📌 Technology watch on vulnerabilities
📌 Work with the development teams to integrate security into the DevOps chain (DevSecOps). This may include conducting security assessments, implementing security testing and measures, and providing guidance on secure coding practices.
📌 Ensure that the SaaS solution is securely deployed and maintained. This may include implementing security controls for the infrastructure and platform, and monitoring for security threats.
📌 Adapt the solutions based on risk analysis and customer constraints
📌 Work with the sales and marketing teams to communicate the security features and capabilities of the SaaS solution to customers and partners. This may include creating marketing materials and documentation, as well as participating in sales demos and presentations.
You will be joining a dynamic and motivated team based in the city centre of Toulouse. We follow the Agile principles, allowing to progress at a fast pace with a customer oriented approach. Our teams are cross-functional, self-organizing and highly autonomous. You will be working directly with our Product Managers and stakeholders in a highly collaborative manner. This approach requires a huge amount of teamworks and maturity and is not right for everyone, but we believe it is the best way to create great software.

Preferred Experience end Mindset 💁♀️
We are looking for a candidate with significant experience in cyber security, if possible in a small structure to have taken part in the whole chain, including production environments.
Autonomous and proactive, you will carry the cyber security topic across all product teams.
Certification is a plus, but participation in meetups or cyber events is even more appreciated.
You like working in a changing and challenging environment. You are an action-oriented person, you want to bring agility to space and provide new services based on high-level technologies.
