You are excited about working in a startup environment at the cutting edge of technology. You want to discover the NewSpace by acting in the in-space propulsion domain.
Within the frame of our fast-growing activity and in the aim of the industrialization of our products, we are looking for a Production Scheduler on our site of Massy (91), France.
Attached to the Production team, you will be in charge of the planning and scheduling of Exotrail assembly, integration and test activities.
You will focus on:
📌 Plan all propulsion system production activities to reach production objectives based on production capacity;
📌 Manage implementation and customization of MRP/ERP to Exotrail needs;
📌 Release manufacturing orders based on Bill of Materials and configuration;
📌 Schedule personnel and equipment on daily and weekly bases;
📌 Track production progress, ensure AIT activities are complete and that work orders are closed;
📌 Identify and report issues, missing parts (early enough), risks, and opportunities for improvement;
📌 Lead improvement projects regarding production flow optimization, schedule optimization, skills management, supply and inventory activities, make-or-buy, etc.;
📌 Contribute to the daily operational review. Option: animate it as the “scrum master”.
You will be in direct interaction with project managers, supply chain manager, methods, facility and equipment team, and production technicians/engineers.
In a second step, you could be involved in the planning and scheduling of other product lines such as the spacevan™.
Preferred Experience 💁♀️
With a master’s degree in aerospace or manufacturing/industrial engineering, you have more than 2 years of planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred skillset:
📌 Good knowledge of the production environment ideally in the aerospace or a cutting-edge environment, including a ramp-up phase.
📌 Production planning and scheduling experience.
📌 Strong analytical skills.
📌 Very good knowledge of ERP and MRP software.
📌 General technical knowledge in electronics, fluidics and/or mechanics is a plus.
📌 Upper intermediate technical level in English (B2 as a minimum).
📌 Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification a plus.
📌 Strong written and verbal communication skills.
📌 Pragmatism.
📌 Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines.
📌 Interpersonal skills: interaction with project managers and the whole Production team.
