We are seeking a Software Sales & Business Development Manager to join our team and take Exotrail to the next level. In this role, you will be part of our Sales, Business Development, and Bid team and report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Our software products, spacestudio™ and spacetower™, are an essential part of Exotrail's mobilityhub product portfolio. They help satellite manufacturers and operators, space agencies, and civil and defense governmental organizations to design, build, and operate their space assets more efficiently.
With an already strong and prestigious customer base including Eutelsat, ISAR Aerospace, CNES, Thales Alenia Space, and the French Space Force, we need someone to accelerate the commercialization of our software products and provide unparalleled scale-up capabilities for the constellation era.
Your main responsibilities will include:
📌 Prospecting the market worldwide, identifying opportunities, building your pipeline, and executing the complete business development and sales process up to contract signature.
📌 Being instrumental in understanding customer pain points in designing, deploying, and operating satellite/satellite constellations and working with product management to address these problems through future product development.
📌 Building sustainable and long-term relationships with customers to successfully position Exotrail to maximize software product ARR (annual recurring revenue) long-term.
📌 Participating in and attending conferences and online events on a regular basis to promote and market your product portfolio.
📌 Contributing to the product roadmap definition through a deep understanding of market trends and the competitive landscape.
📌 Identifying and implementing partnerships and/or distribution channels to accelerate market share acquisition.
Preferred Experience 💁♀️
We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual with a team-building spirit to work in a scale-up organization.
Significant experience (5/8 years+) in the space sector in bid, product marketing, or business development and sales related to space mission design and operations will ensure you are set up for success in conversations with both operational experts (in flight dynamics, mission simulation, mission control center operations) and their management (C-level).
With a solid appetite for worldwide business development and sales hunting, your understanding and commercial market opportunity analysis skills will allow you to achieve Exotrail's innovative Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product penetration into a rapidly changing and growing market.
You must be fluent in English (written and spoken) and possess a strong and documented international background.
A degree in engineering and impeccable soft and presentation skills (written & oral, public communication, etc.) is required.
